Perched atop the Colombian mountain range of La Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the "Lost City" (ie. La Ciudad Perdida) remains a sacred site to the local indigenous tribes. Over a four-day expedition through dense jungle, heavy rainfall, and steep climbs, we had the chance to meet and learn more about the Kogi and Wiwa people, two of four groups who inhabit this region. We were overwhelmed by their kindness and hospitality, as well as by the beauty and grandeur of this magical place.
